Too "imaginative"? It's a bit messy

I always feel that I have been reading this book for a long time, approximately a month?I have finally finished reading it and entered the information into aNobii... That was when I found that I have only used 2 weeks for it, well, normal speed for working days.The book, <>, is imaginative. The idea of all the people over 15 vanished is interesting. However, I feel disappointed when I read about the mutants, the speaking cycotes and the unknown monster, Darkness. The book is quite typical as a teenage fiction, to include some puppy love, some supernarural power, some power struggle, etc. It's hard to foresee how the author can end this neatly.Well, a leisure read, but don't read too seriously. Any life-education message? maybe... but not clear.... Thriller? maybe.... The many bits and pieces.... you can still stitch them back to form the whole picture but the content doesn't really attract you that much...Plan to stop reading the series for a while, though I have got the second book with me. I'll read something Chinese as a change, <<目送>>.
