Weird stories

This book contains three novellas of Marquez's. The first one "Leaf Storm" is really abstruse. It is about the death of a stranger. I had to try my best to figure out who is talking as the story is narrated by four (or five?) people. The second story "No One Writes to the Colonel" is easier to understand. And for those who have already read "One Hundred Years of Solitude" the story is not so unfamiliar. There is also a colonel and the republic. Oh, by the way, Macondo and Colonel Buendia are also mentioned in the first story. The last one interesting because it is about a murder and here I have to say Marquez is a great storyteller. But the final scene is really gory as well as hard to imagine.
