Very insightful

A must-read for every software developer who wants to start his/her own business. The business wisdom revealed by the authors can be applied to different arenas of life as well, because from my perspective, everyone is running a life-time business and everything he/she do is marketing, no matter he/she is aware of it or not. The authors' perspective on business is different from those traditional ones, and I think that's the reason they win, they lead, and they profit. They talked about the common myths in productivity, in managing customers requests, and in business competition. It's tempting to lose one's proactiveness and stance when fear comes. They are the only business book authors who offer practical wisdoms for the audience to brave the storm. They help do more with less, manage complexity with simplicity. Reflections on my own career brought by their practical experience motivated me to rethink about the decisions I made in the past, and inspired me to find a new way out in the future. For those who stick to the old rules of business, please beware, this is not a comfortable book to read. It challenges your beliefs about the world.
